Four Point by Sheraton Desaru - Johor

Four Points by Sheraton Desaru is located in the well-known Desaru area of Johor, a coastal destination popular for its long beaches, family attractions, and relaxed holiday vibe. The hotel is set in a convenient spot that makes it easy to access key places around Desaru Coast, including the beach, water parks, golf courses, and various dining options. One of the added conveniences is that there are shop lots located just opposite the hotel. These are very handy for guests who want quick access to food, drinks, or daily essentials without having to travel far. The area includes small eateries, convenience stores, and local shops, making it easy to grab a meal or pick up necessities at any time.

The hotel has an open-air car park with automatic plate number scanning for entry. This made the whole process smooth and hassle-free. Parking is charged at RM7.56 per stay (including 8% tax) with unlimited entry. Check-in was straightforward, and the hotel has a total of 15 floors. Access to the lifts requires a room key card, which adds a good sense of security.

We stayed in a deluxe king room, which was very spacious and comfortable, giving us plenty of room to relax. The room came with a ceiling cassette air conditioner, which kept the space very cold and evenly cooled throughout. The TV offered a variety of channels, providing good entertainment options when we stayed in. Apart from that, the bed was soft and very comfortable, making it easy to rest well at night. I also liked that the room came with a balcony, which added a nice open-air feel. There was a round table provided, but there was no chair to sit and work comfortably. So, we used the sofa bed and worked at the round table instead, which was still manageable.

The bathroom had good water pressure, and the hot water worked well, which made showering pleasant. However, there was no proper space to place toiletries inside the shower area, and water tended to seep out, which made the bathroom floor slightly wet after use. Despite this, the overall bathroom experience was still functional and comfortable.

The hotel facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness centre. The swimming pool is spacious and enjoyable, but there is no lifeguard on duty, so guests need to be mindful while using it. The fitness centre is also available for those who want to maintain their workout routine during their stay, offering basic equipment in a clean and functional space.

Overall, our stay was good and enjoyable. The hotel offers spacious rooms, strong basic facilities, and a very convenient location with useful amenities nearby.
