Simpang Mengayau Cafeteria - Kudat, Sabah
Our stay in Simpang Mengayau Chalet comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 9am. However, they only started serving breakfast at 8.30am. Buffet style breakfast but choices are very limited. They only served bread, fried noodles, fried rice, vegetables and free flow of coffee. Food tasted average and fried noodles were slightly too salty for my liking. The night before we had our dinner at Simpang Mengayau Chalet too. There's 12 of us and we ordered 6 dishes. It's so kind of the restaurant owner to give us complimentary drinks and fruits. Each of us only need to pay RM 25 for our dinner that night. We didn't set any expectation but surprisingly all the food tastes good. We had a good time chit chatting with some of the Sabah Stargazer participants after the dinner and hours fly by without notice...
