My nickname "pixietail"

It was first day of Chinese New Year and this year, instead of having home-cooked meals we decided to eat out at a restaurant. My favourite Thai Restaurant  Sabai Dee Cafe  was closed for Chinese New Year. Hence, we ended up at Restaurant Lima Utara. We reached there around 6pm and only a few tables were occupied. We ordered 6 dishes and total bill came to roughly RM 229 which was pretty expensive for me. My favourite dish of the night were the steamed clam with Thai sauce and Thai style steamed fish. Both dishes were spicy and sour. An appetizing dish for everyone. However, soft shell crab and clay pot tofu tasted a bit bland for me. Apart from that, d eep fried catfish was crispy but lacking flavour. My partner likes their  Kung po mantis shrimp but I find it so-so. As of now,  Sabai Dee Cafe  still my preferred Thai Restaurant in Jitra... (Price shown below including GST 6%) Restaurant Lima Utara Soft shell crab - RM 19.08 ...

Looking for tasty Thai food with an outdoor dining in garden concept, check out Sabai Dee Cafe located in Jitra, Kedah. Located in a very quiet secluded area, this restaurant served nice Thai food. Sabai Dee Cafe is surrounded by a natural green paddy field and you can get a view of the stunning sunset too. Great place to take photos. We ordered steamed squid in lime sauce, tom yam seafood, sambal petai udang, Thai mango salad, Thai pineapple fried rice, stir fried egg plant and deep fried catfish with tumeric. My favourite dishes were steamed squid in lime sauce, Thai pineapple fried rice and deep fried cat fish with tumeric. I really enjoyed their steamed squid in lime sauce. Cautious! This is a very spicy dish that might caused a burning feeling in your mouth and stomach but the whole combination with the lime sauce was perfect for me.
