Aftermeal Dessert is my newfound favourite dessert shop in Petaling Jaya! Life is too short to miss out on desserts. I Googled for dessert in Petaling Jaya and decided to check out Aftermeal Dessert since it has the highest rating. We had their best seller  Iron Lady Milk Tea Kakigori and it tastes heavenly. The shaved ice is so soft and smooth. It has this unique taste of tieguanyin tea which is not too strong. Iron Lady Milk Tea Kakigori comes with grass jelly, chewy white jelly pearls and red beans at the bottom, topped with almond flakes and black pearls. Apart from that, there's a separate bowl of  taro balls, sweet potato balls and black pearls. I like the chewy white jelly pearls that goes so well with the shaved ice. It's also not overly sweet so I find it rather enjoyable. Ipoh has always been one of our favorite cities when it comes to food. Basically 3 days 2 nights stay in Ipoh is just enough for us to satisfy our food cravings. So this round we decided to stay at Sojourn Guest House. We arrived Ipoh around 3.30pm, had our favourite "nga choy kai" (bean sprouts chicken) at Restaurant Tauge Ayam Lou Wong before we check in to the guest house. We stayed in a s uperior twin room, comes with 2 single beds, in-room safe, study table, smart TV that connects to a WiFi network, mini fridge, unsealed drinking water (t here's a hot and cold water dispenser at every floor) , iron, ironing board, disposable slippers, hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning and toiletries. They only provide tea bags (no coffee) at the pantry area. However, the tray is always empty. Room is spacious and clean. Bed is very comfy and same goes for the comforter and pillow. Le Meridien Petaling Jaya is located next to Paradigm Mall. Hotel reception counter is at level 2 and they allow early check in for us at 1pm. We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room that comes with a king size bed, lazy sofa, working desk, Smart TV with a screen mirroring feature but limited Astro channels, complimentary 4 bottles of drinking water daily, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, in-room safe, iron, ironing board, Yukata, disposable slippers, hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning and toiletries. Room is spacious, clean and modern but very cold. Luckily we can manually adjust the temperature setting. Bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom has two sliding doors without lock. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. However, taking a bath is very unpleasant because there's inconsistency in hot water temperature.
