Novotel - Taiping, Perak
Novotel Taiping is strategically located in the heart of Taiping town. The hotel is directly connected to the Taiping Mall. However, the upper floor of the mall appears to be deserted, with many retailers closed. During check-in, the hotel staff was quite friendly and upgraded our room from twin to king. I was freezing during check-in because the hotel lobby air conditioning was so cold. We stayed one night in a superior king room that comes with a king-size bed, a working desk, a wall-mounted TV with limited channels, air conditioning with individual temperature control, an in-room safe, an i ron, an ironing board, disposable slippers, a shoe mitt, a mini fridge, two bottles of unsealed drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, complimentary Wi-Fi, a wall-mounted hair dryer and basic toiletries.
