Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air. We were in Kundasang last week and it's my second visit there after 9 years. How time flies! Due to school holidays, all the rooms were fully booked at Kinabalu Pine Resort except superior deluxe room (the most expensive room in Kinabalu Pine Resort) for 2 nights. So, we stayed 2 nights in a superior deluxe room with 2 single beds. It's a single-storey wooden cabin with four semi-detached rooms. Two rooms sharing a big porch overlooking mount KK. Simple, spacious room comes with limited TV channels, wooden flooring, wall mounted fan, 2 rattan chairs, dressing table, slippers, wall mounted hair dryer, coffee or tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, basic toiletries, complimentary internet access (slow internet connection) and 2 umbrellas.
