We checked out from Chang Gung Hostel at 12pm and left our luggage at Alan's factory. His mum brought us for lunch at this ramen restaurant. I have no idea what ramen flavour that I order because the menu is all in Chinese language. I assumed my partner had the original Tonkotsu ramen while I had Tonkotsu ramen with black garlic as there's a strong garlic aftertaste. Our ramen comes with pork slices, green negi, black fungus, bean sprouts and dried seaweed. Alan and family brought us to this hot pot shop " 火鍋世家長庚店" approximately 10 minutes drive from  Chang Gung Hostel  for brunch. There's 8 types of pot broth for you to choose from including the basic broth , tomato, kimchi, miso, peeling chili pepper, heshouwu (Chinese herbal soup), hot & spicy and Chinese pickled cabbage broth. This restaurant offers individual hot pots with free flow of drinks and ice cream. I like their sliced beef and corn. Beef is tender and juicy. Whereas for the corn, it's crisp, juicy and sweet. One of the best corn on the cob that I've eaten.
