Sunway Clio Hotel - Petaling Jaya

Image
Sunway Pyramid has always been my favourite mall and Sunway Clio Hotel is directly linked to the mall. It's so convenient as I can just walked over to grab my favourite food or drink. We stayed 3 nights in a d eluxe plus king room that comes with a king size bed, single sofa, working desk, LED TV with limited channels (at least they have Astro movie channel - HBO), complimentary drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, iron, ironing board, disposable slippers, in-room safe, hair dryer and basic toiletries. Modern, bright, clean and spacious room. Bed is nice and comfy. Their duvet smell fresh and cosy. One of the best feeling in the world is when you sink into a comfortable, clean and fresh bed after a long shopping day. Room is very cold but you can manual adjust the temperature setting. Bathroom is spacious and shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. Water pressure is good and water is very hot. They only provide 1 bottle of

The Gardens Hotel - Kuala Lumpur

The Gardens Hotel is attached to the Gardens Mall and Mid Valley Megamall. We decided to stay in this hotel because shopping is really convenient. We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room that comes with a king size bed, lazy sofa chair, working desk, complimentary mineral water, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, bathrobe, iron, ironing board, disposable slippers, in-room safe, toiletries, hair dryer, weighing scale which is not working and a fuzzy LCD TV with very limited TV channels (Astro channel not available). Room is spacious but looks old and doesn't smell good. Bed is very soft and slightly bouncy. Apart from that there's an unpleasant sweaty smell on the bed. So I requested housekeeping to change the bedsheets and pillow the next day since I only found out about it at night when I was about to sleep. Yup... I slept one night on the stinky bed. It sounds gross but I don't feel good calling housekeeping middle of the night just to change the bedsheets and pill

Bao Teck Tea House - Penang

Our supplier recommended us to try this premium dim sum located at George Town, Penang. Reservations are recommended to avoid the long queues. When we reached there around 11am, the restaurant was packed with people. We looked at the menu and indeed the food and drinks are more expensive than norm. There's four of us and we ordered 13 types of dim sum. Our bill came up to RM 272.15. Thanks Jon for buying us brunch. We ordered s now mountain bun (BBQ roasted pork bun),  Bao Teck prawn dumpling,  Bao Teck siu mai, homemade fish balls, crispy yam puff, steamed pork sparerib with cordyceps, glutinous rice with chicken, crispy money bag with prawns, prawn rolls with bean curd skin, pandan coconut bun, p rawn dumpling noodle soup, g olden radish cake and m eatball with hotate.  I like their pandan coconut bun. Soft and fluffy  bun with aromatic pandan coconut filling. It's not too sweet with a hint of salt. Snow mountain bun with BBQ roasted pork filling is good too. Slightly crusty
