Once a while we will travel to Ipoh for our favourite food. You can check out my favourite Ipoh food here . Nasi kandar and claypot glass noodles with crabs are always our "must eat food" when we travel to Ipoh. We surveyed a few hotel and we decided to stay at D Eastern Hotel. Basic room comes with LCD TV, selected Astro channel, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, rain and hand showers, complimentary internet access, self controlled air conditioning unit and sitting area with 2 comfortable chairs. Fast internet connection. You can watch youtube without lag. Besides that, you do not need to worry about not having enough power plugs to charge your electronic devices. In total there are 5 plugs for you to charge your electronic devices! Shower has hot water with very good water pressure but after a long shower, it turns cold. Last month, we drove down to Kuantan, Pahang to meet up with a friend. It was an impromptu trip and we stayed at the Hotel Grand Continental in Kuantan. Since it was rather last minute, we managed to get a deluxe twin room through Agoda website. The room comes with selected Astro & local channels, LCD TV, fully air-conditioned (centralized air conditioning system with low or high settings), free wifi (very slow internet connection), free parking for in-house guest, coffee & tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water & bathroom with hot/cold shower. The room was clean but old. Water pressure was strong and hot but the bathroom was dimly lit. Only 1 lift available during our stay in this hotel and luckily the waiting time was still manageable. Free parking for in-house guest located just beside the hotel. It's an indoor basement parking without any security guard and it was dark. The car park staircase does not connect directly to the hotel lobby

We attended our relative's wedding in Penang few months ago and stayed in B-Suite, Penang. There are 3 types of room category - studio, family and bayan suite. We stayed in the family suite comes with a king size bed and a sofa bed. The first thing that I noticed when I stepped into the room was.... Wow... The room was so spacious!   The room comes with a colour TV, limited astro channels, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, snacks, cereal, coffee & tea making facilities, self controlled air conditioning unit and a safety box. The TV is rather small in the large room. By the way, there's no free wifi inside the room. Free wifi is only available at the hotel lobby.   The bathroom is clean. Shower has hot water but after a long shower, it turns cold. Besides that, I was having difficulty sliding the shower door as it's not working perfectly. Luckily the water did not splash into the toilet area.
