The Zenith Hotel Kuantan is strategically located in front of Capita Malls Asia (East Coast Mall). We stayed in a deluxe room comes with 2 single beds, wall mounted flat-screen TV with in-house movies and selected TV channels,  lounge chaise sofa, working desk, coffee & tea making facilities, complimentary 2 bottles of mineral water, mini fridge, individual air conditioning control, in-room safe, disposable slippers, iron & ironing board, bathrobes, complete set of bathroom amenities and complimentary internet access. Internet access was fast in the afternoon but speed dropped drastically at night.  Spacious, clean and comfortable room. Bathroom comes with separate shower and bathtub, weighing scale and hair dryer. Shower was great because water was hot enough with good water pressure. Last month, we drove down to Kuantan, Pahang to meet up with a friend. It was an impromptu trip and we stayed at the Hotel Grand Continental in Kuantan. Since it was rather last minute, we managed to get a deluxe twin room through Agoda website. The room comes with selected Astro & local channels, LCD TV, fully air-conditioned (centralized air conditioning system with low or high settings), free wifi (very slow internet connection), free parking for in-house guest, coffee & tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water & bathroom with hot/cold shower. The room was clean but old. Water pressure was strong and hot but the bathroom was dimly lit. Only 1 lift available during our stay in this hotel and luckily the waiting time was still manageable. Swiss Garden Resort & Spa is located at Balok Beach, Kuantan. We stayed in a deluxe garden view room with a king size bed. Both the room and bathroom were clean and spacious. However the water heater was not hot enough. We decided to have a relax trip and to sleep until late in the morning but we were woken by the noise of kids running and screaming at the corridor around 9.30am. Next thing we know, the housekeeping lady started knocking at our door and even tried to open it. Luckily we latch the door from inside. Since we were given a door tag on housekeeping, I think the housekeeping should only be carried out when the hotel guest leave the door tag on or maybe it was my mistake for not leaving the "do not disturb" door tag instead. The Legend Resort Cherating is located in Kuantan, Pahang. We stayed in a deluxe room which came with a king sized bed and a nice pool view. The room was clean, spacious and free wifi available inside the room. However the bathroom shower was not hot enough and the water smell weird. We managed to smack a cockroach, spotted inside the bathroom that almost went into the bedroom. The air-conditioner was cooling but there was a disturbing humming noise that occur the whole time. I just love the swimming pool. There are 2 huge swimming pools for adult, one swimming pool for kids and 2 jacuzzis. The jaccuzis were working well but was not well maintained as there were sands inside the jacuzzi.  We had our breakfast at the Coconut Grove Coffee House, open for breakfast from 6.30am to 10.30am.
