My nickname "pixietail"

Redang Island is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia. We stayed in Redang Island Resort (A member of Berjaya group), approximately one and a half hour ferry ride from Kuala Terengganu  (Shahbandar Ferry Terminal) to Pulau Redang Jetty. Once we arrived at Pulau Redang Jetty, Redang Island Resort already arranged a bus to pick us up at the end of the jetty. Journey from the jetty to Redang Island Resort took around 3 minutes. When we checked in, we were warmly greeted by the reception staff and a van was ready to pick us up to our chalet. (There is a short walk up a semi steep hill from the resort lobby to the chalets) There are many chalets and each chalet comes with 4 rooms. The room has a mini fridge, hair dryer, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water, TV with selected Astro Channels, free wireless internet, ceiling fan and fully air-conditioned room.  Intan Beach Resort is located at Batu Buruk, Kuala Terengganu. Pantai Batu Buruk (beach of the ugly stone) is just right in front of the resort. A popular place with local people for strolling and kite flying. However swimming is dangerous due to the strong waves. When we reached Intan Beach Resort it was almost 5pm. We checked in our luggage, took a quick shower and drove our way to Chinatown, just a short distance away from the resort to have our dinner. Varieties food stalls can be found at Batu Buruk but we do not have the time to explore that area.   We stayed in a standard room comes with attached bathroom, cold & hot shower, 29" colour TV with selected Astro Channels, jug kettle, free parking, free wireless internet, ceiling fan and fully air-conditioned room. Resort World Kijal (Formally known as Awana Kijal Golf, Beach & Spa Resort),  is located in Kemaman, Terengganu. We stayed in a deluxe room, comes with two double beds. Our room is facing the pool, golf and beach. The view from our room was really nice. The room comes with mini fridge, hair dryer, 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water, electronic safe, ceiling fan and fully air-conditioned room. No free wifi but you can have 24 hrs of internet access by paying RM25. The staff that checked us in was very unfriendly. In fact we were directed to the other end of our hotel room. Carrying our heavy luggage without any assistance, we have to walk and search for our rooms which took us almost 5 minutes from one end to the other end of the hotel rooms. Glad that finally we found our room! The door lock is the conventional type whereby you need to use a key instead of an access card. The room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. ...
