Restoran Nyonya is one of the oldest Nyonya restaurant in the Klang Valley and it is located in SS2. The restaurant was quiet and quite empty when we entered. However we saw a few tables with the "reserved" tag. My favourite dishes in this restaurant are beef rendang and ence kabin. If you are wondering what exactly is ence kabin? It is actually fried chicken in nyonya style. Juicy chicken, fried to perfection and best eaten with the dipping sauce. The chicken is not crunchy or crispy but it is fragrant from the variety of spices. Besides ence kabin, the beef rendang tasted delicious as well. The beef was tender, flavourful and the "spicy" level was just right for me. We ordered a plate of fried kangkong, also known as water spinach. Holiday Inn Silom is located in Bangkok, Thailand, 45 minutes away via the expressway from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
