Cameron Highlands - Day 3
On our last day in Cameron Highlands, we were determined to squeeze in a few more eating spots before leaving. After checking out of the Zenith Hotel at 11.11am, we headed to The Lord’s Cafe. It's a cozy cafe known for its cream scones, located just a 6-minute walk (500m) from the hotel. The cafe is on the first floor, and a small staircase leads you up to this old-fashioned interior, almost like stepping back in time. We ordered a cream scone served warm with butter, homemade strawberry jam, and whipped cream, along with a cup of Cameron Valley Tea. The scone was slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a texture similar to the biscuit base of a cheesecake. Both the scone and strawberry jam were good. The combination of butter, cream, and jam made each bite rich and indulgent. The tea was light, even after adding milk, but it went well with the scone. It was the best way to begin our final day.
