Taiwan - Day 5 (Raohe Night Market)

Image
We decided to have our breakfast at Family Mart just a short walking distance from the place where we stayed on our 5th day in Taoyuan. We had sausages, milk tea, fruit milk, chicken wings and cup noodles. There's just so many types of cup noodles! I randomly picked one and it turned out to be a good choice. :) Family Mart Sausages and milk tea Cup noodle - beef flavour Chicken wings and sausages Fruit milk - NT 30 We joined Ben for late lunch at this restaurant, just few shops away from Family Mart. I had beef noodles while my partner had beef rice. Our lunch comes with free flow of drink. Not the best beef noodles around but it has a pleasant environment. Restaurant ambience Free flow of drink Beef rice (small) - NT 105 Beef noodles (small) - NT 115 A trip to Taiwan is not complete without a visit to one of their night markets. We plan to visit Raohe Market since my partner never been there bef

Ben's brother in law, Alan bought us "mee suah" and warm milk tea for breakfast after sending his daughter to pre-school. It's so nice and sweet of him. The "mee suah" is nice and same goes to the warm milk tea. After we had our breakfast at home, we followed Alan and Ben to visit some suppliers in Taoyuan. Rice noodle (mee suah) Warm milk tea We randomly select a place for lunch and ended up at Chuanxiang. I had dry noodles comes with a bowl of ginger pork soup. I like the soft texture of the noodles. We ordered other side dishes as well such as squid, glutinous rice sausage and pork slices. The glutinous rice sausage is actually sticky rice stuffed into the pork intestine. This dish comes together with slices of cucumber and it's a perfect combination.
