Sama-Sama Hotel, KLIA - Kuala Lumpur

Sama-Sama Hotel is located next to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). It's connected to KLIA via a covered sky bridge. There's complimentary buggy service available at Level 2 Car Park C&D near to the Food Garden. Just look out for the signboard and there's hotel intercom to press for assistance. However, no one answered the intercom when I try to reach out for the buggy service later in the evening. But fret not because their buggy service is fast and efficient unless there's a long queue for it.

When we arrived around 3.10pm, the buggy already on standby at the designated spot. The lady is very friendly and drove us to Sama-Sama Hotel with our luggage. It's only a 2 minutes ride or 5 minutes walk from KLIA to the hotel. Check in and check out process is smooth and fast. We stayed 1 night in a deluxe room comes with a king size bed, a flat screen smart TV with limited channels but it's able to browse internet, Youtube and video on demand, working desk with an ergonomic chair, air conditioning with individual temperature control, lazy sofa, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, in-room safe, weighing scale (inaccurate readings) mini fridge (locked), iron, ironing board, bathrobe, disposable slippers, hair dryer and toiletries.

Room is spacious, modern and clean. Bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom is spacious and comes with a bathtub. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. Water pressure is good and water is very hot. However, they only provide one small bottle of shower gel which is definitely not enough for the two of us. Ended up we requested another bottle of shower gel from them. There's light refreshment inside the mini fridge but it's locked.

Hotel facilities include swimming pool, pool table, tennis court and gym. A key card is required to access the lift. Overall it's a pleasant stay.

Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants. On the day of arrival, we asked our friendly Grab driver what is the must-try food in Philippines and he mentioned Jollibee. So here we at Jollibee located inside Landmark Department Store just 4 minutes (250m) walking distance from  New World Makati Hotel . We ordered 2 pieces of chicken served with rice and drink. Rice is soft. Fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and tender. It comes together with a brown gravy which taste like KFC mashed potatoes gravy. Overall it's good. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
