Perth - Day 13 (Bananabro)

Marcus suggested we have banana leaf rice for brunch. On the way, we went to fetch Joejo and dropped by Riverton Quality Meats to grab some groceries for dinner. Then, we head straight to Bananabro. Marcus waited for us inside the restaurant and ordered potato curry, lamb varuval, curry chicken, fried fish, asam pedas fish curry and deep fried golden squid rings.

Each of us has a set of banana leaf rice comes with 4 vegetarian side dishes - cabbage (slightly undercooked for me), potatoes, fried onions and pickled cucumber. Rice is nice and fluffy. I like their potato curry as it's very flavourful and the pickled cucumber add a refreshing taste to the meal. Lamb varuval on the other hand is very aromatic but the gamey flavour of lamb is a bit strong for me. Overall, all of us enjoyed our meal very much. Thanks Marcus for the brunch!
