Taiwan - Day 7 (Taoyuan - KTV Superstar)

Uncle Xie purposely brought us to My Warm Day (MWD) for brunch at 10.30am. I had Basil Pesto with smoked chicken sandwich meal and warm soy milk while my partner had Hong Kong style meal with orange juice. I love their crispy fries. It's quite a heavy brunch for me. I can only finish half the chicken sandwich and gave another half to my partner.

Uncle Xie and wife brought us for lunch again at 12pm. We just had our brunch less than two hours ago and here we are again for lunch. On top of our glass noodles and minced pork rice, Uncle Xie order six more small dishes for us. All the dishes are good and I love the glass noodles in a tasty broth. However, we are just too full to finish all the food. Luckily we only order one cup of black tea which is a bit too sweet for my liking.

During tea break, Uncle Xie order fresh milk brown sugar with boba tea from Milksha for us. Boba or pearls are chewy. This milk tea has a strong flavour of fresh milk and the sweetness level is just right.

Dinner time, Uncle Xie and wife drove us to A.mart Taoyuan Store and we had Gui Lin Teppanyaki. Omelette is good but stir fried cabbage is a bit too salty for me. My partner loves the pan fried chicken. Overall we had a fabulous brunch, lunch and dinner with Uncle Xie. He even send us back to our hotel after dinner. Uncle Xie and wife truly are a wonderful host.

At night, we met up with Alan and Jon at his parent's place for a drinking session while waiting for Ben. He purposely drove all the way from Taichung to meet us. He even bought us one of the best milk tea from Taichung! It's really good indeed. I just love the texture of the brown sugar jelly. It's slightly firm and has a soft bite jelly texture.

Instead of calling it a night, all of us head to KTV Superstar at 1am! We didn't expect there's so many people here and we have to wait at least 30 minutes for our KTV room. The room comes with a private toilet and it's freezing cold. There's drinks, snacks, food and even rice. We sang until 4.30am and had a really good time. It's been a long time since we had a fun time out with friends. Thanks to Yi Chen for suggesting this place and paid for the night out as well!
