Chang Gung Hostel - Taiwan

Chang Gung Hostel is just 5 minutes walking distance (350m) from Song He Motel and within walking distance (600m) to Global Mall Taoyuan A8. Room is spacious but looks old with a musty smell. Their furniture looks old as well and the small table next to the bed is dusty.

Our room comes with a king size bed, working desk, disposable slippers, wall mounted TV with 43 channels, in-room safe, mini fridge, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, free WiFi (speed is fast) coffee or tea making facilities, wall mounted hair dryer and basic toiletries. Bed is hard and bouncy. Besides that, they only provide 2 pillows and there's some stains on one of the pillow casing. Throughout our 4 days 3 nights, stay they did not change our bedsheets nor pillow casings.

Bathroom comes with a bathtub but there's no shower curtains. Hence, water splashes all over the bathroom floor after shower. Water pressure is good and water is hot enough. Just like Song He Motel, they only provide 2 packets of shower gel. Room rate includes breakfast for 2 person and breakfast start from 6.30am to 8.30am. We didn't get to try their breakfast as most of the night we slept late and by the time we woke up it's already 9am.

There's a private balcony overlooking the public basketball court. Thus it gets quite noisy in the morning and evening since our room is on the 2nd floor.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. You can order additional breakfast set at the price of RM 18 for Malay, Chinese or Western breakfast and RM 9 for kids breakfast. 1. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
