Langkawi, Kedah - Day 3 (Final day)
It is our last day in Langkawi, and we decided to chill and enjoy the facilities in the hotel until we check out at 12pm. So, I woke up at 8.30am and went down alone for breakfast since my partner decided to skip it. The menu is the same as yesterday's breakfast, but they had briyani rice today. However, it is slightly salty and tastes average. I decided to try their cereals, and the granola is tasty. Besides that, the staff is kind to assist me in cutting the displayed dragon fruits.

On the way to Kuah jetty, we stopped by Yong Leong Seafood Restaurant for lunch. The restaurant was empty, and we were the only customers. I ordered watermelon juice, but it's too diluted and sweet for my taste. My partner had orange juice, which was sweet as well. We ordered their chef's special bean curd, ginger & spring onion clams, chef's special curry, braised pork rib, fried meat rolls, egg with bitter gourd and stink bean.
The bean curd is fried to golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. However, the sauce is sweet, and I prefer a savoury dish of tofu. The curry fish is on the salty side, and the fried meat rolls taste awful. The meat texture is soft and mushy. In the end, we couldn't finish the dish.

Our driver came and picked us up around 1.20pm and Kuah Jetty is just an 11-minute drive (3.9km) from the restaurant. We have to go through immigration before entering the ferry terminal. All our bags are being scanned, and boarding starts at 2pm. Our ferry tickets are being scanned twice. Once before we enter the departure hall and again before we board the ferry. Our ferry departs at 2.30pm and the seats are more comfortable than the one we took that day. Two hours later, we have arrived at the Kuala Kedah Jetty. So that concludes our three-day, two-night trip in Langkawi.
