Krit Thai Residence has an excellent location. It's conveniently located near the National Stadium BTS station and a 500m walk from the MBK Center. Apart from that, there is a massage parlor next to the hotel and McDonald's is only a 2-minute walk away (110m). Basically, this hotel is within walking distance of many eateries, convenience stores, massage parlors and malls.

We stayed in their ME room for five nights that comes with a king-sized bed, a couch, a working desk, an in-room safe, a mini fridge, a wall-mounted LCD flat-screen TV with a wide variety of TV channels, a hair dryer, complimentary Wi-Fi, two complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea-making facilities, two pairs of disposable slippers, an iron, an ironing board and toiletries. Extra amenities such as a shaver, hair comb, sewing kit and adapter are available for free at the reception. Each guest room has a universal electrical wall outlet installed.

The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small but has a bathtub. Water pressure is normal and it is hot enough. However, the lack of separation in the bathtub causes water to splash into the toilet area. Our room is just next to the BTS station and we can hear trains passing by all the time, especially at night. This explains why the hotel provides earplugs. Apart from that, the hotel room ceiling is quite low.

There is only one lift available, and there are nine levels altogether. The front desk is on the first floor. We had no idea there was a sunbath lounge on the rooftop. Hence, we didn't get to see it. The ground level has private parking, which is subject to availability. Your room key card is unable to enter the lift from the ground floor, thus a guard will help you by using his card to get you to the lift.

The hotel also provides airport taxis: THB 550 for a small taxi, THB 750 for a big taxi and THB 1,300 for a van. Rates include tolls and taxes. To secure a reservation, full payment (cash only) must be made at the front desk. Early check-in and late check-out are allowed, subject to the hotel's availability.
