Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles - Kuala Lumpur

Woo Pin Fish Head Noodles is famous for its fish head noodles or "yu tau mai" in cantonese. You can choose either mee hoon or yee mee for your noodles. Next, you need to choose your fish. Normal fish, fried fish head/meat or fish paste. Finally you can choose to have it with or without evaporated milk.

The fish head noodles consist of gingers, tomatoes, preserved vegetables, spring onions, fried shallots and evaporated milk (optional). I prefer the fish paste mee hoon with milk. The soup was really good. It was sweet and flavourful. The sambal was spicy and good too. Perfect combination with the fish paste or fish head/meat.

The fried foo chok is my favourite! Fish paste wrapped in foo chok or beancurd skin and deep fried. The foo chok is crispy on the outside and the fish paste is soft and smooth on the inside. Dip the fried foo chok with sweet chili sauce... Hmnnn... simply delicious! The fried fish cake is good too but fried foo chok is still the best.

Usually the restaurant will be very crowded during lunch time. The restaurant owner even posted a notice: "Please be informed that all tables are to be shared" So, be prepared to share your table when you are dining in this restaurant.
