Lexis Suites Penang - Penang
Lexis Suites Penang is located in Teluk Kumbar, Bayan Lepas area just 11 minutes drive (4.9km) from Penang International Airport. The area is quite secluded and I guess the only attraction is they have this private pool and steam room in every suite. My partner decided to bring his niece and sister in law to stay in this hotel for 2 nights before going back to Alor Star for Chinese New Year.
We stayed in the executive pool suite that comes with two king size beds, spacious bathroom with a bathtub and shower, separate toilet room, bathrobe, toiletries, disposable slippers, self controlled air conditioning, ceiling fan, writing desk, flat screen TV with limited channels, in room safe, iron, ironing board, 4 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, complimentary snacks and soft drinks and free wireless internet. There's a private pool and steam room located at the balcony. They only provide 2 pairs of disposable slippers and an additional pair will cost RM 5 each. During housekeeping on the 2nd day, they threw away our disposable slippers and replaced it with two new ones. They should have just leave it there as it's still usable.
The room is clean but looks a bit old. There's no hand towel provided on the first day and toilet bowl wasn't very clean either. There's no lock for the toilet and shower room. Basically there's lack of privacy if someone accidentally opened the toilet or shower room door. Hotel facilities include swimming pool, gym and games room.
Our stay in this hotel includes breakfast for 2 person. There's Arabic corner, Sushi corner, vegetarian corner, Malay, Chinese and Western breakfast available. There's variety of food for you to choose from but as usual I will go for my fried egg, baked beans and hash brown. Sadly the hash brown wasn't that crispy and teh tarik was too sweet for my liking. Overall, breakfast was just okay.

Check out time: 11am (check out after 11am will be charged RM 50 per hour)
