Mantanani Island, Sabah - Day 3

It's our final day in Mantanani Island. Glad that we took the 3 days 2 nights package instead of the 2 days 1 night package as we got to spend more time on the island. I woke up at 7am and took a stroll along the beach. I had breakfast with Shyan and Leo at 8am. My partner joined me later around 9am for breakfast. We checked out from our room at 11am and waited for lunch at 12pm. We decided not to go for the snorkeling session at 11.30am as we have already checked out from our room. It would be a bit of a hassle of cleaning up even though there's public bathroom for you to use. There's no hot shower and toiletries for the public bathroom.

Lunch was okay. They serve rice with chicken, beef, fish, tofu, vegetables and fruits. Our speed boat departs at 2.30pm and 35 minutes later we have reached Rampayan Jetty. Everyone was sweating inside the speed boat as there's lack of air ventilation since they close the front door to avoid sea water from splashing in. Our bus was waiting for us at the Rampayan Jetty and we departed at 3.30pm. We have to wait at the road side for more than 30 minutes for four passengers who boarded the wrong bus. Finally we reached Sutera Harbour Resort at 6.35pm. It's good that we include land transportation in our package. At least we don't need to drive all the way to Rampayan Jetty and leave our car there for 2 nights. Overall it was a relaxing trip and my most memorable moment was seeing the blue tears. Oh yeah... and not forgetting the sea turtle and fire flies as well. :)

Philippines - Day 3 (Manila Chinatown - Intramuros - SM Mall of Asia)

Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants. On the day of arrival, we asked our friendly Grab driver what is the must-try food in Philippines and he mentioned Jollibee. So here we at Jollibee located inside Landmark Department Store just 4 minutes (250m) walking distance from  New World Makati Hotel . We ordered 2 pieces of chicken served with rice and drink. Rice is soft. Fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and tender. It comes together with a brown gravy which taste like KFC mashed potatoes gravy. Overall it's good. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
