Hard Rock Cafe Part II (Valentine's day) - Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

I'm supposed to blog this in February but I had totally forgotten about it until i browsed through my photos. Yes. It's that time of year again, February 14 and love is definitely in the air. Guys will have a headache on where to bring their girlfriend for dinner. Most western restaurant will have their own special candle light dinner menu usually consists of an appetizer followed by the main dish and ends with a dessert.

Somehow, we just want to have a simple Valentine's dinner and at the same time having a good time. So, we ended up at Hard Rock Cafe Kota Kinabalu. It was a good choice. We were there around 9pm and surprisingly it was quite empty. They maintained their daily menu and we ordered a plate of Caesar salad and smoked beef brisket. Caesar salad was really good. It's served on a cold plate, consists of fresh romaine lettuce tossed in homemade Caesar dressing, topped with garlic croutons, crusty bread cubes, eggs, grilled chicken and fresh shaved Parmesan cheese. You may choose to add grilled chicken or beef into your Caesar salad.

On the other hand, the beef brisket was delicious too. This round we choose onion rings as one of our side dishes. You can read more about it by clicking here on our first visit.

We waited patiently for the live band to start at 9.30pm. Since it's Valentine's Day, they started off with love songs. It was nice. Halfway through the live band, a tourist from China proposed to his girlfriend on stage in front of everyone! The girl say "yes" and everyone was happy for them. Just love this place!

Update: This restaurant has been closed down.
