My new found favourite food in Nasi Kandar Anak Mami is cheese naan with chicken tandoori! Naan is a type of Indian bread traditionally cooked in a tandoor oven. Nasi Kandar Anak Mami offers different kinds of naan such as plain naan, garlic naan, cheese naan, carrot naan, kaya naan, beef naan, chicken naan, mutton naan, garlic + cheese + butter naan, raisin naan (mixed with cashew nuts and green apple), butter naan and onion naan. 

I've only tried their cheese naan and I enjoyed it very much. It's soft, chewy and cheesy (with melting cheese inside). Apart from that, I love their chicken tandoori - roasted chicken with spices. It's slightly spicy and the chicken are tender and juicy with all the flavours of spices. Cheese naan with chicken tandoori set comes together with salad (consist of cabbage, tomatoes, onions and mayonnaise), curry and mint sauce.

Besides cheese naan, my partner loves their "nasi kandar". Nasi kandar consist of plain steamed rice served with variety of curries and side dishes. Scroll down to the last photo and you can see how much he loves curry! That's his style of eating nasi kandar! It's all covered with curries!

Update: Naan doesn't taste good anymore as the maker already returned to his homeland...

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
