One World Hotel - Petaling Jaya
One World Hotel is located in Bandar Utama with direct access to 1 Utama Shopping Centre. We stayed 3 nights in a superior room that comes with a king size bed, lazy sofa, working desk, LED TV with free in-room blockbuster movies on demand but with limited Astro channels, complimentary drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, in-room safe, iron, ironing board, Yukata, torch light, disposable slippers, hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning and toiletries. They gave us complimentary snacks and can drinks on our second and third night. Apart from that, two days in a row they gave us complimentary mooncake. I can't remember when was the last time I had mooncake. Surprisingly I kinda like their mooncake. Their red bean paste mooncake is nice and not too sweet.
Room looks clean and spacious. Most importantly bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom is spacious and comes with a bathtub. However, the bathtub leaks and the sink has a slow drainage. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. Water pressure is good and water is hot enough. But when you turn on the shower tap, there's no indicator to show whether the water flows from the rain shower or the handheld shower head. So here's the best part. I didn't know that my partner was using rain shower earlier on. When I turned on the shower tap I was drenched from head to toe in cold water! If only they have this function to auto switch from rain shower to handheld shower head when you turn off the tap...
Hotel facilities include swimming pool and gym. A key card is required to access the lift. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
