Lee Gardens Plaza Hotel is strategically located in the heart of Hat Yai, Thailand. It's within walking distance to many eatery places, convenience stores, restaurants, bistros and market. We stayed two nights in a superior room that comes with a king size bed, working desk, coffee table, wall mounted TV (wide variety of Thai channels), free high speed Wi-Fi, in-room safe, open shelf wardrobe, complimentary 2 bottles of drinking water, mini fridge, coffee or tea making facilities, wall mounted hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning and basic toiletries.

Hotel lobby is located at level 10 and security is very strict right after you step into the Plaza at ground floor. You have to go through a metal detector and have your handbag checked every time you enter the Plaza. There's no direct lift from ground floor to guest room floor. Basically the lifts will bring you to level 10 (hotel lobby) and from there you need to take a different lift to your room floor. Key card is not required for access to guest room floor from level 10.

Room is spacious and clean but there's no disposable slippers, iron or ironing board. Shower water is warm but not hot. Apart from that, shower head spraying water in several different directions and it's really annoying. They only provide one small bottle of shower gel which is definitely not enough for the two of us who shower at least once a day. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. However, the sliding shower door keeps getting stuck. Not to mention the bathroom has a slow draining sink.

Hotel facilities include swimming pool and fitness center located at 12th floor. Daily breakfast start from 6.30am to 9.30am.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
