The Centrepoint Hotel - Brunei

The Centrepoint Hotel is located in the Gadong part of Bandar Seri Begawan. It's just 4 minutes (300m) walking distance to The Mall and 10 minutes (800m) walking distance to Gadong Night Market. We stayed 1 night in a deluxe room that comes with a king size bed, a bolster, working desk, fuzzy TV with limited channels, complimentary internet access (slow internet speed), in-room safe, disposable slippers, mini fridge, coffee or tea making facilities, complimentary 2 bottles of drinking water, radio, hair dryer, basic toiletries and an old type of air conditioning wall controller (with fixed fan speed).

Room is spacious but looks old. Apart from that, room is dimly lit with an unpleasant musty smell. One of the bedside power plug is not working. Hence I was unable to on the bedside reading light causing the room even darker. Pillow is comfy, however bed has a super bouncy feel. Bathroom looks old with a bathtub. Normal water pressure and luckily water is hot enough. Slow draining sink and shower head handle starts to chip and peel. Besides that, shower curtain rod is rusty.

Buffet breakfast starts from 6.30am to 10am. Hotel facilities include swimming pool, gym and tennis court.

Check in time: 2pm
Check out time: 12pm

Room rate - RM 327 including breakfast for 2 person
