Nine Tree Hotel Myeongdong is located right in the heart of Myeongdong shopping district, near to the subway station (just 2 minutes walking distance from Myeongdong station but you will have to carry your luggage up a long stairway from the station) and airport limousine bus stop (just 1 minute walking distance from the bus stop).  

We stayed 4 nights in a standard twin room that comes with 2 single beds, LED TV (with variety of Korean channels), free high speed internet, heating system, in-room safe, mini fridge, coffee or tea making facilities, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, bathrobe, slippers, hair dryer and toiletries. I like the fact that the hotel implemented all necessary safety measures for their guests seriously. They have this simplicity descending life line, emergency smoke mask and mini portable fire extinguisher. Apart from that, there's an emergency call button in the hotel bathroom as well. We couldn't figure out how to turn on the air conditioning and ended up we just off the heating system. Room is cold enough without air conditioning since it's winter.

Room is small but clean. Bed is comfy and comes with 2 comfort pillows for each bed. Room cleaning is done in anytime between 9am to 4pm. For guest who do not wish for room cleaning service, you can press DND (do not disturb) button by the key card wall slot. Please contact front desk if you wish for room cleaning service immediately or in specific a time. Bathroom is clean and comes with a semi translucent door glass without lock. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. Water pressure is good and I just love the hot shower. Besides that, toilet comes with heated toilet seat as well.

Hotel facilities include lounge (Level 11) opens 24 hours with LED TV, wireless internet, coffee machine, microwave and water purifier with ice. Outside food is not allowed on the lounge. There's coin laundry opens 24 hours as well on the same floor (Detergent - ₩ 1,000, laundry / dryer - ₩ 3,000 each). Apart from that, you can check your T-money card balance and recharge it at the hotel. Hotel entrance is at Level 1 whereas reception and restaurant is at Level 3. Key card is required for access to guest room floor and hotel main entrance from 1am to 5am.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
