Ramada Resort Dunsborough (formerly known as Wyndham Resort and Spa) is located in Margaret River region, approximately 2 1/2 hours drive from Perth. We booked through Agoda website and it was stated there that the room comes with breakfast for 2 person. However, when we checked in at Ramada Resort, we were told that breakfast was not included. The hotel front desk employee told us that the mistake was done by the online hotel reservation service and not them. They even added that we got a very good deal by booking online. Anyway, in order not to spoil our holiday mood we didn't make a big fuss about it. We had dim sum for brunch at Dragon Palace located within the Cockburn Gateway Shopping Centre precinct. The restaurant was quite packed during lunch time and dim sum cart will be served around the restaurant without customer leaving their seats. We ordered steamed chicken with spicy sauce, d eep fried prawn dumpling with mayonnaise, st eamed spare ribs with black bean, d eep fried crispy pastry stuffed with prawns,  King prawn siew mai  and roasted duck. My favourite was the steamed chicken with spicy sauce. It's served cold and the sauce was a bit spicy for me. However, chicken was tender and juicy. Besides that, I like their deep fried crispy pastry stuffed with prawns and wrapped in rice noodles. Prawns were fresh and it's a perfect combination with the crispy pastry and rice noodles. I'm generally a Western food lover while my partner on the other hand, prefers Chinese food. Since we had Chinese food for dinner on our first day at  Good Fortune Roast Duck House , we decided to have Western food for lunch on our 2nd day in Perth. Outback Jacks Bars & Grill is located at Rockingham Shopping Centre. The restaurant was quite empty when we reached there around noon and only one table was occupied. We ordered a combo (combination of rump steak, pork ribs and baked spud) and their lunch menu special, Jalapeno chicken wrap. Although only one table was occupied, we waited at least half an hour for our food. The rump steak was a disappointment. We ordered medium well steak without any blood and it came out dry, char on the outside and unevenly cooked on the inside. Worst part, the steak tasted bitter. We had Chinese food for dinner on our first day in Perth. Before heading to Good Fortune Roast Duck House for dinner, we stopped by  The Bell Tower  and  Elizabeth Quay . This restaurant is only 10 minutes drive from Elizabeth Quay, located at Northbridge. Their speciality is roast duck. We ordered one whole roast duck and other dishes such as pan fried tooth fish, sweet and sour pork,  s izzling seafood with Japanese tofu and stir fried water spinach with chilies and shrimp paste or also known as  "kangkung belacan" in Malay. Roast duck was nice. Duck was tender and succulent without any gamey taste. However, skin wasn't crispy enough. Other dishes tasted ok but I don't really enjoyed the sweet and sour pork because there's lack of balance between sweet vs sour taste of the sauce.
