Dolce Dessert Cafe - Penang

We stopped by Dolce Dessert Cafe to have a piece of cake before our lunch. This cafe was recommended by our supplier who stayed in Penang. It was noon time and the cafe was quite empty. It's a double storey cafe and the walls are painted with cute pictures of rats. There's variety of cakes displayed beneath the glass counter at the front of the shop. There's matcha tiramisu and original tiramisu served in a bowl, blueberry cheesecake, chocolate hazelnut, passion fruit cheese cake and many more.

Since we will have our lunch later, we decided to order just a piece of cake and shared a drink. Victorian lemonade was so-so for me. I find it a bit sour for my liking. Unique thing about it is they served you the margarita glass with ice so you can pour your lemonade into the glass and enjoyed it.

I love nuts and chocolate, so I ordered their chocolate hazelnut. I loved it! Moist and dense chocolate cake, most importantly it's not too sweet. However, what confused me is the nut on top of the chocolate cake. It looks like walnut instead of hazelnut. Hmmn... maybe they ran out of hazelnut? Anyway, we will definitely return to try other flavour of cakes.
