Tony Roma's, Sunway Pyramid - Petaling Jaya

As we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the waiter who showed us the way to our table. We went through the menu, placed our order and waited patiently for our meal to be served. The waiter served our drinks and a complimentary bread, came with a small scoop of butter. The bread was warm - soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfectly matched with the butter.

While waiting for our food, I tried all 4 of Tony Roma's sauces: Carolina honeys, Tony Roma's original, Blue Ridge Smokies and Red Hots. Among the 4 sauces, my favourite was the red hots and least favourite was the blue ridge smokies. The blue ridge smokies sauce taste like the BBQ sauce which I don't really fancy much. The red hots sauce wasn't really that spicy but matched well with the beef ribs.

I ordered the Filet Medallions and Bountiful Beef Ribs served with coleslaw and loaded mashed potatoes under the Ribs and combos menu. You will get two perfectly prepared filet medallions topped with a demi-glace and paired with your choice of either bountiful beef ribs, shrimp scampi or grilled salmon. You will also get to choose your choice of two sides - Cole Slaw / Corn on the Cob / French Fries / Loaded Mashed Potatoes / Rice / Ranch Style Beans / Fresh Vegetables / Baked Potato / Fire-Roasted Vegetables. I preferred my filet medallions to be well done and it was perfectly cooked without any blood. The filet medallion was tender and juicy. However, the best is still the beef ribs. It was tender and the sauce was superb.

My partner ordered the Lamb ribs served with corn and broccoli. The lamb was really good. It was tender and I like the sauce too. I can still taste the gamey smell from the lamb. However the sauce can really cover the gamey taste. Overall my partner loves the lamb ribs alot whereas I love the beef ribs more. :)

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
