Meatworks Restaurant - Petaling Jaya

Meatwork is located inside Citta Mall, Ara Damansara. The restaurant is clean with nice ambience. When we arrived around 8.30pm on a Friday night, the restaurant was quite empty. The staff was friendly and the service was good. The menu consists of appetizer - soups, potatoes, onion rings and salads, main dishes - burgers, steak, ribs, lamb, chicken, duck, pasta and fish, desserts - ice creams, pies, brownies, cheesecake and many more.

I ordered the Sirloin served with creamed potato mash, some long beans and corn. I like my Sirloin to be well done. When the dish was served, the Sirloin was perfectly cooked without any blood. It was tender, juicy, well marinated and flavourful. The creamed potato mash was very creamy and smooth. Besides that the corn was good too.

My partner ordered the Baked Silver Cod served with creamed potato mash, vegetables and salads. The fish was fresh and perfectly baked. We were too full to try their dessert after our meal. Overall the dishes were good and a great place to dine. Bill came with 6% government tax and 10% service charges.

Sirloin 250g well done - RM50. The finest Gemas Gold Meat branded beef is grilled to your liking. Served with creamed potato mash, gravy and organic greens from Cameron Highlands.


Baked Silver Cod - RM45. Baked Silver Cod fillet served on a bed of lentils, with carrots, cauliflower, brocolli and a dallop of paprika aioli.


Freshly squeezed orange juice - RM9.80


Mango fruit juice - RM7.80

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
