On our 10th day in Seoul we decided to spend the entire day in Lotte World. It's a sunny Monday and temperature is around -1℃. We left our hotel and walked to Euljiro train station at 9am. We use the Korea tour card and I have no idea why they only deduct ₩ 100 for our subway ride from Euljiro Station to Jamsil Station. We have to get off the train at Seongsu Station and take another train from Seongsu Station to Jamsil Station. We reached Lotte World around 10.15am and since we bought our tickets from Klook (RM 140.25 per person - daily pass to Lotte World including Folk Museum), we have to redeem our tickets at the Wild Tour Gate. There's no queue and we can collect our tickets right away.

We decided to have our brunch at Lotteria just beside the Wild Tour Gate. I had chicken burger while my partner had single beef bulgogi with fried chicken and large iced tea. You can mix and match your sides. Their fried chicken doesn't taste that great. Same goes for my chicken burger.

We enter Lotte World from Wild Tour Gate and I got myself a copy of the guide map at the entrance to plan our route accordingly. There's 5 attractions and entertainments in B1F.
Underland B1F:
1. Wild Wing - thrilling experience of flying in the sky against strong wind
2. Wild Jungle - exploration of a temple by a jeep while looking for ancient ruins
3. Wild Valley - adventure into a mystery cave by a boat in a rapid stream
4. 4D Shooting Theatre - thrilling shooting adventure with a Lotty gun
5. Dream Boat - fantasy boat ride into a mysterious forest of fairies
The first ride that we took was the Wild Jungle followed by 4D Shooting Theatre. My partner finished last place in the shooting adventure out of 34 participants. I wasn't any better either as I was placed 24th. Guess both of us are too old to play shooting games.
There's 37 attractions and entertainments in Magic Island & Adv 1F. Out of these 37 attractions, 5 are chargeable. The theme park is divided into indoor Lotte World Adventure and outdoor lakeside Magic Island. We walked to Magic Island and the only rides that has less queue time is the Fantasy Dream. It's a cute fairytale world travelled by a mini train. This ride is suitable for young children and we felt so childish after the ride.
The queues are crazy for those rides with steep drops or crazy turns such as Gyro Spin, Gyro Swing and Comet Express. We saw many people dressed in Korean school uniform and I was wondering why there's so many students in this theme park. That's when I saw the school uniform rental! There's a variety of school uniforms for you to rent for a day.
Our 4th ride is Across Dark located on the 4th floor. It's a 3D animation in a motion chair going into the space to find lost relics. I find it a bit boring. Then we saw a parade at 2pm on the first floor of the Adventure indoor park. Our 5th ride is the World Monorail. A slow monorail ride (6 seaters) to see Lotte World Adventure at a glance.

We had our late lunch at Oishi Food around 3pm. I had ramen while my partner had shrimp fried rice. My ramen comes with 2 slices of pork, 1 slice of fish cake, boiled egg and bean sprouts. It tastes just like Maggi instant spicy noodles. My partner's shrimp fried rice served with sweet pickled radish, is a bit hard for my liking.

After our late lunch we head to Folk Museum located on the 3rd floor. Folk Museum opening hours is from 10pm to 6.30pm. Last admission is 1 hour before closing. I'm quite impressed with their miniature model city. We spent less than an hour exploring the museum. There's another Parade at 5pm on the first floor of the Adventure indoor park and we managed to see it again.

We had our tea break at Cafe Churrovic. We ordered 3 churros with 1 milk chocolate dip and a glass of mango smoothies. Nothing taste better than a fresh churro. It's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Best combination with the mango smoothies.
We queued for more than an hour for our 6th ride at Wild Wings. We sat on the front row and it's a thrilling experience of flying in the sky against strong wind. Watch out for the light splashes of water. We then waited for the night Parade at 8pm. There's some indoor fireworks but overall it's not very impressive. After that we walked to Magic Land and waited for the light show at 8.40pm. We got bored after the first minute. Not to mentioned it's so freaking cold! Temperature is -4℃ that night.
Basically for us Lotte World is not worth to go. We only had 6 rides and all the popular rides have crazy queues. It's super long unless you are willing to pay the express pass for all the popular rides!

We left the theme park around 8.50pm. We haven't eaten our dinner yet and all the restaurant are closed. A hungry man is an angry man. My partner was grumbling because we couldn't find any restaurant that's still open at 9pm. We're a bit lost and have no idea where to find food. Our only hope is to head back to Myeongdong and hopefully the street food is still open by the time we reach there.
On our way to the subway, we saw Bake Cheese Tart. My partner quickly grab a piece of chocolate tart while I had the cheese tart. The cheese tart is good. Crispy buttery tart crust filled with savory cheesy filling. However, chocolate tart filling is a bit too sweet for my liking.

While walking towards the subway station we saw this shop selling tteokbokki and fishcake. We bought a bowl of tteokbokki, 2 sticks of fishcake and 1 stick of
minced fish ball. Tteokbokki is one of the most popular Korean street food and finally we have the chance to try it in here. Basically it's simmered rice cake with fishcake. Rice cake is soft, simmered in a sweet spicy sauce and it's good. We had the fishcake too but the broth is not as flavourful compared to the fishcake we had at Myeongdong street food.

We took the subway from Jamsil Station to Euljiro Station (Total 14 stops - ₩ 1,350 per person). We stopped by Myeongdong street food and my partner bought a skewer steak stick. There's too much tendons in it and it's chewy. Overall, it's not worth the price we pay. Finally we reached our hotel around 11pm. The temperature dipped to -8℃ at night and this is by far the coldest day we experience in Seoul.
