Movenpick Hotel And Convention Centre KLIA - Sepang, Selangor

Movenpick Hotel is located in Sepang, just 10 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Mitsui Outlet Park. We decided to stay in this hotel as we wanted to shop at Mitsui Outlet Park and at the same time to send our relative off at the airport.

We stayed in a Deluxe King that comes with a king size bed, single sofa, TV with limited channels, complimentary 2 bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, in-room safe, iron, ironing board, bathrobe, disposable slippers, hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning, basic toiletries and free Wi-Fi connection but it's slow.

Room is very spacious, comfortable and clean. Bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom is spacious that comes with a round bathtub and shower is separated from the toilet area with its own cubicle. Bathroom mirror comes with auto LED lights to illuminate the space in the bathroom. There's no lock for the bathroom door and it's a sliding door design. Water pressure is very low and hot for the hand shower set. Apart from that, there's no indicator showing which side is hot water on the shower faucet. Not to mention the wall mounted shower gel dispenser is empty.

Key card is required to enter the room and gym but not for the lifts. Hotel facilities include swimming pool, kids club, gym and tennis court. Swimming pool is separated between male and female only pools and there's no life guard on duty. Gym is located at Level 8 and we only found out about it after check out. So we didn't get to check it out.

Our stay comes with buffet breakfast for 2 person. Breakfast starts from 6.30am to 10.30am. They served nasi lemak, fried vermicelli, soup noodles, salad, cereals, bread, pastries, chilled juice and coffee. I had their fried egg but it's not the perfect fried egg that I'm looking for. Anyway, I enjoyed their fried vermicelli and sambal squid.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
