Perth - Day 18 (Brother of Mine - City Garden Chinese Restaurant)

It's our last day here in Perth. Time flies and by far this is our longest stay in Perth. We had our lunch at Brother of Mine. I ordered Hunters fried chicken comes with bacon, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, shredded iceberg, ranch, toasted brioche bun and seasoned rustic chips. My partner on the other hand ordered BOM beef burger comes with cheddar cheese, folded egg, onion jam, dill pickle, dijonnaise, white onion, warm brioche bun and seasoned rustic chips. Fries is good. It's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Bread is fluffy and soft. Apart from that, their fried chicken is crispy and tender.

Marcus and family offer to fetch us to the airport. They came around 9pm and before they send us off, they brought us for supper at City Garden. We parked our car at Northbridge's Wilson Parking which operates 24/7. Marcus ordered 6 dishes - squid, kangkung belacan (water spinach with shrimp paste), steamed chicken with spicy sauce, hokkien seafood fried rice, black pepper beef and seafood hofun with egg sauce. Kangkung belacan is nice. Even though squid is slightly salty, it's good. After supper, we head straight to the airport. We bid farewell and thanked them for the wonderful supper.

We reached airport around 11.30pm and there's a long queue at the check in counter. It took us around one hour to check in our luggage. Luckily we still have some time for our duty-free shopping. I bought myself a bottle of Jacob's Creek double barrel Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 ($ 20). Our flight supposed to depart at 2.25am but it was delayed until 3am. We reached Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) around 8.50am and waited for our connecting flight to Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) at 11.15am. Finally we reached KKIA around 2pm. I survived 29 hours without sleep and once we reached home, I slept from 3pm until the next day 9am. I didn't wake up for dinner and slept for 18 hours! I guess sleep is more important than food for me...
