Le Meridien Petaling Jaya is located next to Paradigm Mall. Hotel reception counter is at level 2 and they allow early check in for us at 1pm. We stayed 3 nights in a deluxe room that comes with a king size bed, lazy sofa, working desk, Smart TV with a screen mirroring feature but limited Astro channels, complimentary 4 bottles of drinking water daily, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, in-room safe, iron, ironing board, Yukata, disposable slippers, hair dryer, self controlled air conditioning and toiletries.

Room is spacious, clean and modern but very cold. Luckily we can manually adjust the temperature setting. Bed is nice and comfy. Bathroom has two sliding doors without lock. Shower is separated from the toilet area with its own transparent cubicle. However, taking a bath is very unpleasant because there's inconsistency in hot water temperature. Apart from that, bathroom is cold and I shiver every time after taking a shower. Besides that, they only provide one small bottle of shower gel which is definitely not enough for the two of us. 

There's a mini fridge but it's protruding from its surroundings. We requested housekeeping before we went out for brunch the next day but it's not done when we came back one hour later. Hotel facilities include swimming pool and gym. A key card is required to access the lift to your designated floor.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
