First World Hotel - Genting Highlands, Pahang

First World Hotel is located in Genting Highlands, suitable for travelers on budget. This hotel is easily accessible to First World Plaza, Sky Avenue, Sky Casino, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park and Genting International Convention Centre. It's so easy to check in and check out of the hotel. There's plenty of kiosks located at the hotel lobby. Just follow the instruction on the screen to get your room card. During check out time, just dropped your room card at the check out kiosk.

We stayed in a very basic standard room comes with 2 single bed, small flat screen TV with limited channels, in room safe which is not working, hair dryer, wall mounted 2 in 1 shampoo & shower gel, disposable shower cap and working desk. There's no coffee or tea making facilities inside the hotel room but there's a hot and cold water dispenser located outside the corridor. (You might need to walk quite far to look for the water dispenser)

Since Genting Highlands is known for its cold weather, the hotel room only comes with a ceiling fan. WiFi only available in the lobby area. Toilet and shower are separated and there's no lock on both the doors. However, hot shower is great with good water pressure. Overall the room is small and same goes for the toilet and shower.

Jollibee is a Filipino multinational chain of fast food restaurants. On the day of arrival, we asked our friendly Grab driver what is the must-try food in Philippines and he mentioned Jollibee. So here we at Jollibee located inside Landmark Department Store just 4 minutes (250m) walking distance from  New World Makati Hotel . We ordered 2 pieces of chicken served with rice and drink. Rice is soft. Fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and tender. It comes together with a brown gravy which taste like KFC mashed potatoes gravy. Overall it's good. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
