I love lazy beach holiday, to do absolutely nothing but laze around the resort and beach. There's no hawker centre or fast food nearby the resort unless you are driving yourself to the nearby town. We wanted to spend more time at the resort, so we decided to have our dinner here at Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai. There's few restaurant for you to choose from - Sunset Bar and Grill, Kingfisher Restaurant, Penyu Restaurant, Olives Restaurant and Noble House Restaurant.

We choose Sunset Bar and Grill because this restaurant is located beside the beach. You can hear the sound of waves lapping the beach while enjoying your dinner. The restaurant was quite empty on a weekday. Only three tables were occupied including ours. Such a relaxing dinner as you can eat slowly while enjoying the sea breeze.

We ordered two main dish - chicken and seabass. Chicken was good. It was tender and juicy. Grilled spring chicken served with potato chips, mushroom in garlic cream sauce on crisp green salad. On the other hand, seabass taste fishy which I don't really enjoy. It was oven baked served on mashed potato and seasonal veggie with pimientos (capsicum) sauce.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
