Kedai Kopi Hoh Piah - Petaling Jaya

Kedai Kopi Hoh Piah is located at Sungai Way, Petaling Jaya. It is operated from a house and not many tables available. Roughly there's less than 10 tables which able to fit not more than 40 people.

We ordered bak kut teh pan mee and dry pan mee. You get to choose your pan mee type, either thin, thick or hand pinched. Both of us decided to order thin pan mee. We could actually smell the aroma of the bak kut teh pan mee before it was brought to the table. First look at the bak kut teh pan mee reminds me of Japanese ramen!

Both bak kut the pan mee and dry pan mee comes with anchovies, shredded black fungus, minced meat, fish balls and sweet leaf (in chinese it is called mani cai). This is the first time I tried bak kut teh pan mee and it was delicious. I love the anchovies and noodles. Anchovies were crunchy and the noodles were smooth and springy. The bak kut the soup was nice too as I prefer less herbal tasting soup. However the chili was so so and same goes for the fish balls.

My partner ordered iced coffee and it was good. Smooth taste and not too sweet. Whereas for me I ordered herbal tea - loh hon kor drink. It was nice too. Not too sweet and one thing I like is it doesn't leave a bitter after taste. Loh hon kor drink consist of loh hon kor dried fruit, dried longan and winter melon.

Total bill: RM14.10
