De Garden Hotel - Butterworth, Penang

De Garden Hotel is located in Butterworth, Penang. During our last trip to Butterworth we stayed at Aroma Hotel, not too far away from De Garden Hotel. We love to explore new places and this time we ended up at De Garden Hotel.
 
We booked a superior room comes with a king size bed, LCD TV, very limited Astro Channels (AEC, Fox Premier & ESPN), study table, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee & tea making facilities, bathroom with hot/cold shower, complimentary internet access (fast internet connection), self controlled air conditioning, in room safe box, mini fridge, daily newspaper and individual balcony. 
 
The bathroom is clean and water pressure is good. Even after a long shower, the water remains hot. However, the bathroom is abit small. Watch out for the sharp edge of the basin.
 
Overall it was a pleasant stay. The room is clean, cosy and comfortable. Plenty of car parking spaces and it's free of charge.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
