B-Suite - Penang

We attended our relative's wedding in Penang few months ago and stayed in B-Suite, Penang. There are 3 types of room category - studio, family and bayan suite. We stayed in the family suite comes with a king size bed and a sofa bed. The first thing that I noticed when I stepped into the room was.... Wow... The room was so spacious!
 
The room comes with a colour TV, limited astro channels, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, snacks, cereal, coffee & tea making facilities, self controlled air conditioning unit and a safety box. The TV is rather small in the large room. By the way, there's no free wifi inside the room. Free wifi is only available at the hotel lobby.
 
The bathroom is clean. Shower has hot water but after a long shower, it turns cold. Besides that, I was having difficulty sliding the shower door as it's not working perfectly. Luckily the water did not splash into the toilet area. Apart from that, the toilet lighting was very dim especially at the shower area.

Remember to check the balcony door locks before you leave the room. Make sure it is lock because we found out that our room's balcony door was unlock and it's easily accessible from next room's balcony. To avoild any unforeseen circumstances, it's better to bring along your valuable things when you leave your room or use the safety box.

The Pines Restaurant (Kinabalu Pine Resort) - Kundasang, Sabah

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
