Restoran Kari Kepala Ikan Tiga - Puchong

Image
I just realized I have yet to publish this blog! Anyway it's better late than never right? :) So, what's good in this Restaurant Kari Kepala Ikan Tiga? My favourite was the steamed fish with superior soup that comes with seafood. The fish and prawns were fresh and the superior soup was awesome! You can drink the superior soup as much as you like because it's refillable. Besides that, there's fire underneath the plate that keeps food hot through the meal. On top of that we ordered the homemade signature tofu, long beans, curry fish head and sweet & sour pork. Signature tofu topped with spring onions and deep fried shallots was nice. The tofu was smooth and pudding-like texture. Whereas for the long beans, it was cooked perfectly. Not too raw and not too soft. Sweet & sour pork consists of deep frying pork in bite sized pieces, pineapple, pepper bell and onions which makes the dish very appetizing. Of course not to forget the curry fish head which c...

Celestial Court (Dim Sum) - Sheraton Imperial KL Hotel

Image
Celestial Court is located in Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. We were there last weekend for "All you can eat brunch", RM88++ per person. Dim sum is a traditional chinese cuisine served in small steamer baskets or small plates and you have it together with chinese tea. It is very famous in Hong Kong and it is a tradition for the elderly to gather for dim sum after their morning exercise. Celestial Court served variety of dim sum from deep fried to steamed dim sum. In a typical dim sum restaurant, food will be served in a dim sum cart and there's variety of dim sum for you to choose from the cart. However in Celestial Court, the friendly staff will take your order at your table. You can select any dim sum that you like from the menu. It would be better if it is a pictorial menu, at least we get to picture what we actually ordered. There's a special menu whereby you only get to order once. These are the special menu items: a) Sesame Crusted Prawn w...

Will you queue half an hour just for a burger? Well, if it's good why not? We reached My Burger Lab around 4.40pm and we were the first to queue right infront of the shoplot. Few minutes after that, crowds started to queue behind us and it gets longer before the restaurant opens at 5pm. Majority of the customers are young working adults or college students.  Exactly 5pm, the door opens and we were warmly greeted by Burger lab's staffs. We placed our order at the counter and only then we were allow to look for a place to sit. Customers are only allow to find a place to sit after they have placed their orders at the counter. 10 minutes later, we heard our name being called at the collection counter which means our food is ready! :) We ordered... a) Chicken Spicy Hawaiian - consists of grilled chicken, red sauce, swiss cheese, shitake mushrooms and pineapple ring b) Beef A++ - consists of beef, cheddar, caramelized onions, shitake ...
