My Burger Lab - Petaling Jaya

Will you queue half an hour just for a burger? Well, if it's good why not? We reached My Burger Lab around 4.40pm and we were the first to queue right infront of the shoplot. Few minutes after that, crowds started to queue behind us and it gets longer before the restaurant opens at 5pm. Majority of the customers are young working adults or college students. 

Exactly 5pm, the door opens and we were warmly greeted by Burger lab's staffs. We placed our order at the counter and only then we were allow to look for a place to sit. Customers are only allow to find a place to sit after they have placed their orders at the counter. 10 minutes later, we heard our name being called at the collection counter which means our food is ready! :)

We ordered...

a) Chicken Spicy Hawaiian - consists of grilled chicken, red sauce, swiss cheese, shitake mushrooms and pineapple ring
b) Beef A++ - consists of beef, cheddar, caramelized onions, shitake & enoki mushrooms and parmesan crisp
c) Beef Say Cheese - consists of beef, sharp cheddar cheese, onions and Sauce X
d) Beef Beautiful Mess - consists of beef, fried portabellas, sunny-side up and sharp cheddar

All burgers (charcoal buns) come with lettuce and oven roasted cherry tomatoes. You get to choose either ala carte or set. Set includes bottomless soda (choice of Pepsi, Ice Lemon Tea, Revive, Mountain Dew and 7up) and fries. Fries comes with a special sauce (orange in colour) and it was good. It taste like a combination of mayonnaise, thousand island and chili sauce.

My favourite is the Beef Say Cheese. The beef was tender, juicy and the combination of mustard sauce was perfect. Besides that, the buns were soft and fresh. However I don't really fancy the Chicken Spicy Hawaiian. The chicken was tasteless and looks uncooked. The burger was cold and the mushrooms taste weird. Overall the beef burgers were good.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Room type: a) Standard quad room b) Standard double room without balcony c) Standard double room with balcony d) Dormitory - 10 person e) Camping We stayed in a standard double room without balcony. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
