Hotel Armada - Petaling Jaya

Hotel Armada is located in Petaling Jaya just next to Sheraton Petaling Jaya Hotel. The route leading to the hotel is a little convoluted, and we practically overshoot it twice. We stayed one night in a deluxe twin room that comes with a twin bed, a working desk, a wall-mounted TV with limited channels, an iron, an ironing board, an in-room safe, a hair dryer, two pairs of disposable slippers, a mini fridge, complimentary Wi-Fi, two complimentary bottles of drinking water, air conditioning with individual temperature control and toiletries.

The room has been refurbished and looks new. It's clean and spacious. I like how they have this small sofa and table where you can sit and work while watching TV. Apart from that, the bed and pillow are comfortable. The bathroom has a sliding door with no lock. The water pressure is good and water is really hot. However, because the shower area is only half partitioned, water tends to splash out into the toilet area during a shower. The sink drains slowly and there are just two hooks for clothes and towels in the bathroom.

There is a gym in the hotel, but no swimming pool. A key card is not required for access to the guest room floor. Overall it's a pleasant stay, except for the fact that you can hear LRT passing by from our hotel room.
