San Diego Motel (圣地牙哥商务会馆) - Taoyuan, Taiwan

San Diego Motel is located in Taoyuan City, just 6 minutes drive from La Vie Motel. We stayed less than 12 hours in this motel. Basically, it's just a place for us to sleep and shower. Our friend helped us to book this motel and paid for the room as well. Thanks buddy!

We checked in the motel around 10.30pm and checked out the next day before 10am. Room comes with a double bed, sofa, dressing table, wall mounted TV (variety of movies including adult videos), individual air-conditioning with thermostat control, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, complimentary snacks, disposable slippers and toiletries. Simple, clean and comfortable room. Each room comes with a private parking as well. However, we were unable to connect to the internet. Since we have our own personal pocket WiFi, it doesn't affect us much.

The toilet is separated from the shower area by a glass door. So you don't have to worry about soaking wet toilet floor after a bath. Bathroom comes with hot and cold shower. Great hot shower after a long day. Both shower gel and shampoo were mounted on the wall and labelled in Chinese. Since both of us were unable to read Chinese, I actually took the photo of the shower gel dispenser and asked my friend for help. Same goes for the air-conditioner thermostat. All the instruction is written in Chinese!

This motel only serve breakfast in bed. They will get your order the night before and you may request your breakfast between 6.30am to 9.30am. It will be delivered right to your door step and they will put your breakfast in the meal cabinet. This meal cabinet can be open from both sides between the room and the entrance. Simple breakfast but it was good.

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking Mount Kinabalu. Great view and you can slide the glass window to get some fresh air.
