Syeun Hotel - Ipoh, Perak

Syeun Hotel, Ipoh is within 3 minutes walking distance to Ipoh Parade shopping mall and 4 minutes walking distance to my favourite mix fruit ice at Thong Sui Kai. We stayed in a Deluxe King room comes with a king size bed, LCD TV with limited TV channels, dressing table, study table, sofa, in-room safe, ironing board, disposable slippers, 2 complimentary bottles of drinking water, coffee or tea making facilities, mini fridge, toiletries, hairdryer, individual controlled air conditioning and free internet access. However, I was unable to connect to their free internet access on our first day.

Room and bathroom looks a bit old. Luckily it's clean without any musty smell. Bathroom comes with a bathtub and hot shower was great but they did not provide any bathroom rug. Hotel facilities include a rooftop swimming pool, kids pool, rock garden offering a natural foot massage and gym. Overall facilities a bit run down and there's an abandoned facilities beside the gym. It does look very eerie especially when there's no people around.

Hotel provides free parking for hotel guests but they have limited parking spaces. There was an event on the night we stayed and after we came back from dinner, the car park was fully occupied. No other option for us except to come back later after the event ends around 10.30pm. I find that rather inconvenient. Overall wasn't a very pleasant stay.
