Rottnest Island Authority (South Thomson) - Perth, Western Australia

This round we decided to spend a night on the beautiful island of Rottnest. We stayed at Thomson Bay South in a premium 2 bedroom unit that comes with one double bed in each bedroom, bathroom, shower, kitchen, utensils, microwave, fridge, built in oven, fireplace, living area, sofa, LCD TV, ceiling fan, courtyard and barbecue facilities. The unit was clean and tidy. When we open the kitchen drawer, all the utensils were neatly arranged.

Once arrived at Rottnest Island, we went to the Visitor Centre and they directed us to our unit which located 50 meters from the beach with no ocean view. We checked in around 1.00 pm after we had our lunch at Dome Cafe. Check out time on your day of departure is 9.00 am and keys need to be returned to the Visitor Centre.

Before departure, we need to tidy our unit by:

a) Washing and putting away all dishes and cutlery
b) Emptying rubbish bins and taking all recyclable materials to your nearest recycle bin station
c) Make sure all linen and inventory items are in place, including any that may have been taken to other units during your stay
d) Leaving all hire items in the unit to which they were originally delivered
e) Closing all windows and locking the doors
f) Returning all furniture to its original position

Failure to comply with the above may result in additional charges being made.

Information:

On the morning of your departure, you can leave your luggage by the side of the road. Transport services limit pieces to 2 per fixed bed and a maximum weight of 22 kg. Please note that the luggage delivery team cannot transport bicycles, cray pots, surfboards, kayaks, fishing rods, gas bottles or golf clubs. Luggage must be clearly tagged with the departure label applicable to your destination - available from the Visitor Centre and Geordie Bay Store.

If it is raining, luggage may be left under the veranda of your accommodation, but please leave at least one waterproof item by the side of the road to indicate that your luggage is ready for collection.

Luggage should be ready by:

a) 7.00 am Monday - Sunday (for ferries departing at or before 10am) *available by special request only and should be arranged through the Visitor Centre the day before departure.
b) 8.00 am Monday - Sunday (for all ferries departing after 10am)

Our stay in  Kinabalu Pine Resort  comes with breakfast for 2 adults. Breakfast start from 7am to 10am. They only serve ala-carte breakfast and you need to pre-book it at The Pines Restaurant latest by 9.30pm for your next day's breakfast. There's Malay, Chinese, Western or kids breakfast set. Apart from that, there's free flow of Tenom coffee, Sabah tea, mango and orange juice. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping - Kundasang, Sabah

Hounon Ridge Farmstay is located at Kampung Himbaan Bundu Tuhan, 36 minutes drive from Kundasang town. The road heading to Bundu Tuhan is very steep and narrow. There's no street light and driving at night can be hazardous if you are not familiar with the road condition. Be particularly alert when driving and watch out for cows, chickens and stray dogs on the side of the road. There's 4 types of room available. If you are the adventurous type and not afraid of cold, you can even camp outside Hounon Ridge Farmstay.
