Restaurant Lima Utara
It was first day of Chinese New Year and this year, instead of having home-cooked meals we decided to eat out at a restaurant. My favourite Thai Restaurant Sabai Dee Cafe was closed for Chinese New Year. Hence, we ended up at Restaurant Lima Utara. We reached there around 6pm and only a few tables were occupied. We ordered 6 dishes and total bill came to roughly RM 229 which was pretty expensive for me. My favourite dish of the night were the steamed clam with Thai sauce and Thai style steamed fish. Both dishes were spicy and sour. An appetizing dish for everyone. However, soft shell crab and clay pot tofu tasted a bit bland for me. Apart from that, d eep fried catfish was crispy but lacking flavour. My partner likes their Kung po mantis shrimp but I find it so-so.
