Ipoh, Perak - Food Hunting Trip (Day VIII)

Before we leave Ipoh, we had our favourite "nga choy kai" (bean sprouts chicken) and tau fu fa again. On the way back to KL, we dropped by Bidor for the famous duck mee. One of the speciality in this Restaurant Pun Chun is their duck soup noodles. The duck soup was good (contains various chinese herbs such as wolfberries, dried longan and many more) and the meat was tender. Besides that, the noodles were springy and perfectly cooked.

We ordered the "wu kok" as well - Fried yam puff filled with roasted bbq pork. The wu kok was really good. The yam texture was perfect - flaky on the outside and creamy on the inside. The bbq pork was very flavourful and consist of lean meat.

So what we had for dinner? Of course we "tapau" our favourite nasi kandar from Kedai Kopi Yong Suan!
